Product Development Specialist

Position Overview:

Brandvised is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Product Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role will work closely with the Brand Managers, Product Sourcing team, and other key stakeholders to drive innovative product development and ensure seamless execution from concept to market launch. Additionally, the specialist will oversee the quality and performance of our existing product catalog, identifying opportunities for improvements and enhancements.

1. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and customer needs.

2. Collaborate with Brand Managers to ideate and validate new product concepts aligned with brand strategies.

3. Perform competitor analysis to position products effectively.

4. Work with Product Sourcing teams to evaluate suppliers and manufacturers for new and existing products.

1. Review and monitor the performance of existing products across marketplaces, gathering insights from customer feedback, reviews, and sales data.

2. Identify opportunities to improve the quality, design, or packaging of existing products.

3. Implement updates to product specifications and oversee any necessary rework or improvements with suppliers and manufacturers.

4. Ensure all products meet Brandvised’s quality standards and are compliant with applicable regulations in target markets (US, EU, UK, CA).

1. Create and manage detailed project timelines, ensuring key milestones are met for both new and improved products.

2. Maintain clear and consistent communication with cross-functional teams throughout the development process.

1. Partner with compliance teams to ensure all products meet regulatory standards in target markets.

2. Conduct or oversee product testing to guarantee safety, functionality, and durability.

3. Audit manufacturing processes regularly to ensure continued quality in production.

1. Collaborate with marketing and branding teams to provide product details, features, and insights for listings and promotional materials.

2. Work with the supply chain to ensure production schedules align with inventory needs for launches and re-stocks.

1. Monitor sales performance and customer feedback post-launch.

2. Provide insights and recommendations for product improvements, iterations, or discontinuations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Business, Marketing, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in product development or quality management, preferably in eCommerce or consumer goods.

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and supplier management.

• Familiarity with Amazon FBA and multi-channel retail is a plus.

• Excellent project management and organizational skills.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and product lifecycle management software.
