Vendors Manager - Medical device

The primary responsibility of this role is to manage all operational activities at Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMO’s) and to act as the interface between the Supply Chain and device teams in the company and to support joint activities.

Device vendors management will act as the main NeuroDerm’s representative/contact in front of all medical device vendors for production executions, problem solving, escalations, project executions etc.

Device vendors management will work to build long term manufacturing capacity and capabilities and will coordinate medical devices production to garentee on time supply.

Device venodrs management is responsible to analyse long term required capacity and will work with different departments to ensure sufficient long term capacity and manage the risk.

Device vendors management will work to oversee production readiness and raw material avalability and will oversee medical device costing, and manage production budget.

Device vendors management will asist ERP implamentation and system go live and will also be responsible to provide professional expertise through leading departmental tasks and taking initiatives in improving processes.

General duties and responsibilities:

· Build network strategy, manufacturing capabilities and define production processes.

· Conduct periodically risk analysis and build mitigation plan to ensure high quality, on time supply and cost effectiveness.

· Coordinate medical devices manufacturing to guarantee commercial supply to global markets, clinical trials, and R&D demands

· Oversee stock levels of raw materials for production at medical devices CMO’s

· Manage activities in collaboration with device department, device CMO’s and 3rd party vendors

· Sourcing, procurement, and supply activities of materials for production and new items as required to ensure timely delivery within the specification, quality and standards

· Communicate forecasts to CMO’s, monitor supply risks and oversee production timelines

· Oversee devices costing, lead projects to improve cost and processes and manage production budget

· Monitor regularly medical devices R&D demands and future production requirments to esure appropriate inventory levels and re-supply of raw materials

· Manage medical devices inventory, conrtol status and locations

· Manage renewal activities, cleaning of used pumps, functionality testing’s and pump repacking processes.

· Support ERP system implementation, testing and go live activities

· Support clinical studies supply, and distribution of medical devices to clinical sites

· Proactive and continuous risk management of the end to end medical device production

· Develop in-depth knowledge in medical device production and supply aspects

· Initiate efforts for improving current processes for better efficiency and faster turn-around.

· Assist with activities and supply chain’s projects as needed

· Act as the subject matter expert for device-supply chain activities

· Develop and monitor vendor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track medical device CMO’s performance

· And any other task assigned by direct manager

Education and Knowledge Requirements:

· College degree or higher, preferentially in industrial engineering /sciences

· At least 5 years of experience in a medical device, supply chain or project mangement

· Computer literate

· Fluent in English
