Full Stack Engineer

Job Summary: Payments Financial Technologies, a profitable public fintech company operating in the payments and credit sector, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced FS Engineer Developer to join our R&D team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, developing, maintaining, and pushing forward both new and existing code. This role requires a deep understanding of software architecture and development practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions. The candidate will be involved in designing and implementing APIs and microservices to support high-scale applications, working with databases such as MySQL and MongoDB, and leading the team to develop new capabilities as well as to improve overall quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and maintenance of both new and existing code, primarily using PHP.
• Develop APIs and microservices to support high-scale applications.
• Work with MySQL and MongoDB databases to design, develop, and maintain data structures and optimize database performance.
• Lead and mentor the development team, leveraging your experience to improve code quality and development practices.
• Collaborate with the R&D team to design and implement new features and improvements.
• Ensure the quality and performance of the codebase through rigorous code reviews and testing.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise, providing timely resolutions.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain current and competitive.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer – a strong focus on PHP is an advantage.
• Experience with React and Node.js.
• Expertise in developing APIs and microservices.
• Experience working with MySQL and MongoDB databases.
• Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring a development team.
• Strong understanding of high-scale application support.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other programming languages and technologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud services and deployment.
