We are seeking a Cloud FinOps Solution Architect to join our fast-growing organization. This unique role combines technical expertise with customer engagement to deliver innovative cloud cost optimization solutions. You will collaborate with customers to understand their cloud architecture, present FinOps best practices, and identify cost-saving opportunities while simultaneously building and implementing tools to support our FinOps methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, demonstrating FinOps methodologies, tools, and best practices to achieve cost efficiency in their cloud environments.
• Engage in deep-dive discovery sessions with customers to understand their cloud architecture, workloads, and cost structures.
• Identify and recommend cloud optimization strategies based on customer-specific needs, business objectives, and technical requirements.
• Develop automated solutions to enhance FinOps practices, including custom scripts, workflows, and visualizations using platforms like GCP Looker, AWS QuickSight, and other cloud-native tools.
• Design and maintain reports, dashboards, and tools to monitor cloud cost trends, identify anomalies, and provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with the sales team during pre-sales efforts, supporting customer engagements by presenting FinOps solutions and technical demonstrations.
• Partner with internal teams, including engineering, finance, and operations, to align customer needs with technical capabilities and ensure seamless implementation of recommendations.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies, cost management tools, and industry best practices to continuously improve processes and solutions.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, FinOps, or cloud cost optimization.
• Experience in customer-facing roles with a strong ability to build trust and drive actionable outcomes.
• Cloud Expertise:
• In-depth knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms, including billing and cost management features.
• Certifications in one or more cloud platforms are a strong plus.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) to develop automation solutions.
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools like GCP Looker, AWS QuickSight, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud cost and usage reports (e.g., AWS CUR, GCP Billing Reports).
• Soft Skills:
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills to articulate ideas effectively to diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• FinOps Knowledge:
• Solid understanding of FinOps principles, practices, and industry trends.
