R&D Lab Student - 737

Valve medical is hiring R&D Lab Student!

In this role, you will be a major contributor as part of the R&D fluid mechanical lab team, responsible for the development of a cardiac technology medical device product.

Reporting to R&D mechanical lab team manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan, perform and analyze results of R&D and Verification tests including generation of test reports.
• Responsibility over running V&V experiments – hands on.
• Responsibility for lab jigs and fixtures
• Prototype production activities
• Interfaces with outside vendors for outsourcing manufacturing, and assembly.

Basic Qualifications

• Education – 3rd or 4th (at least 4 semester’s left) year student in mechanical engineering
• Availability for 2.5 days a week
• Familiar with Solid Works CAD software
• Familiar with statistical analysis of experimental results.
• Mechanical orientation
• Languages: English – Proficient; Hebrew – Fluent.
• Skills: Team player, responsible, creative, organized, able to work in a dynamic environment.
