Shipping Manager

What You’ll Do:

• Vendor Management: Identify and coordinate with international shipping providers to ensure seamless delivery processes and cost optimization.
• Process Oversight: Oversee the end-to-end shipping process, from pick-up to final delivery, while managing multiple weekly shipments.
• Cost Optimization: Optimize shipping costs through daily competitive bidding and price negotiations.
• Financial Management: Manage invoices, payments, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Customs Compliance: Collaborate with colleagues and customs brokers to ensure compliance with import/export regulations and correct customs classifications.
• Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance shipping efficiency and customer satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Proven experience in international shipping and logistics, Hands-on experience managing invoices, payments, and shipping documentation.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Solid knowledge of import/export procedures and customs regulations.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets are a must.
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
• Independence: Ability to learn independently and manage tasks efficiently.
• Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to accuracy and quality control.
• Skills: Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
