As a Foundational Engineer, you’ll leverage your expertise and experience to help design and build our cutting-edge SaaS platform tailored for small and medium-sized businesses.

You'll be joining a team based in the U.S. and Israel, with years of experience building software and companies in Silicon Valley, New York City and Tel Aviv.

Role & Responsibilities

• Report to and collaborate with the Head of Engineering and senior leadership
• Independently drive key strategic initiatives, leading feature discovery, design, and development
• Leverage creativity and a product-focused mindset to explore, develop, and launch cutting-edge solutions 
• Support our existing systems and infrastructure
• Help establish the future roadmap and technical architecture of the company

Skills & Experience 

• Experienced: 6+ years of software development experience, preferably with a modern software language (e.g., Python, Golang, Node.js).
• Independent & Product-Minded: Able to identify areas requiring investment and lead the end-to-end design and development with a high level of autonomy.
• Strategic: Can visualize the larger picture and break down large, complex efforts into smaller, manageable tasks that can be shipped quickly with minimal customer impact.
• Visionary: Big-picture oriented, ensuring even small tasks and projects are executed with long-term sustainability and vision in mind.
• Detail-Oriented: Obsessed with ensuring the correctness of financial transactions.

Bonus

• Proficiency in Typescript, Python, and/or Golang
• Open to working Fullstack
• Experience with SQL DBs (Postgres, MySQL, etc.)
• Experience managing a cloud infrastructure environment (AWS, GCP, etc.)
• Experience with AI and ML modeling
• Passionate about helping customers and ensuring they are a top priority

For Tel Aviv-based applicants, the team meets in the office 2-3 days a week.
