*Position Overview*

We are seeking a visionary, execution-oriented VP R&D to lead ParaZero's global research and development strategy.

The role involves managing *multidisciplinary projects* that integrate software, algorithms, electronics, and mechanical design, from concept through production. You’ll be driving innovation at the intersection of safety, autonomy, and defense-grade reliability.

*What you will be doing - Responsibilities*

* Lead and grow ParaZero’s R&D teams across software, algorithms, electronics, and mechanical engineering.
* Serve as a hands-on leader, actively contributing to core technical work and guiding the team by example.
* Drive development of new drone safety technologies, features, and defense products.
* Oversee technical review, quality assurance, and compliance with industry standards and certifications.
* Manage complex, cross-domain projects integrating embedded systems, control algorithms, and mechanical components.
* Collaborate closely with Product, Operations, Business Development, and Sales to ensure commercial success.
* Manage R&D budget, resources, and key technology vendor relationships.
* Engage with key partners, including *defense and aerospace organizations*, to deliver high-performance, mission-critical solutions.
* Represent ParaZero at industry conferences, customer meetings, and technical forums.
* Play a key role in the company’s executive leadership team, contributing to strategic decisions and long-term planning.
* Report regularly to the CEO and Board on R&D progress, milestones, risks, and opportunities.

*Who you need to be - Requirements*

* Proven experience leading *multidisciplinary R&D or leading engineering teams*.
* Strong background in *embedded software, algorithms, or control systems*.
* Hands-on experience in *Software*, *hardware or mechanical product development* - an advantage.
* Track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects from concept to production.
* Experience working with *defense or aerospace sectors* - a strong advantage.
* BSc/MSc in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 35.00₪ - 45.00₪ per month
