Corporate Financial Controller

The Controller will manage the company's financial activities. This position will be responsible for ensuring the company's books are accurate and providing financial statements on a timely basis. The right candidate for this role will have international accounting experience with a proven history of streamlining processes.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee the month-end close process, including reviewing accounts and journal entries, and generating timely and accurate consolidated financial reports.
• Create and document accounting policies and procedures, including maintaining the Chart of Accounts (COA).
• Manage core accounting functions such as accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), cash management, and compliance.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of all financial reporting, establish internal controls
• Partner with external vendors and tax advisors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit & loss (P&L), balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
• Ensure the accuracy of the company's consolidated financial results across all subsidiaries.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and automate financial functions within NetSuite
• Lead the annual audit and manage lender-required quarterly audits.
• Manage banking relationships and ensure compliance with loan covenants.
• Oversee and mentor the accounting team

What You Have

• Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Accounting required
• 7 years accounting experience and at least 3 years of managerial experience
• CPA required
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP system required
• Background in a start-up or M&A environment preferred
• International accounting experience preferred
• Experience with multi-subsidiary companies
• Tech-savvy, proven ability to streamline processes
• Experience with financial reporting requirements
• Ability to work flexible hours
