Job summary
The pre-sales engineer in the field of cybersecurity will fill a key role in
supporting the sales and technology teams by providing expertise and technical
consulting to potential clients. The pre-sales person will work in close
cooperation with the sales people to understand the needs of the clients,
demonstrate solutions and ensure that our cybersecurity solutions and services
meet their requirements. The ideal candidate will have a good background in
cybersecurity, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping clients
solve complex security challenges.
Main areas of responsibility
• Technical expertise: Serving as a content expert in the field of
cybersecurity solutions, including cloud security, AI-based security,
incident response, etc. Ongoing updates on industry trends and evolving
threats.
• Customer involvement: Close work with sales teams to understand
customer requirements, deliver technical presentations, and demonstrate
how our solutions meet their needs.
• Solution planning: Assisting in planning and designing customized
architecture based on customer requirements. Collaboration with
engineering and product teams for effective solution adaptation.
• Proof of concept (PoC): Leading and managing proof of concept processes
to demonstrate the capabilities of our solutions. Ensuring the PoC
matches customer expectations and providing the necessary support
throughout the process.
• Developing proposals: Supporting the creation of proposals, including
technical documentation, solution diagrams, etc.
• Instruction and support: Educating customers and internal teams about
the use and benefits of our solutions. Providing training and technical
support as needed.
• Feedback: Collecting and relaying customer feedback to product
development and management teams to influence product improvements
and future upgrades.
Job Requirements
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in a pre-sales or technical sales role in
the cybersecurity industry. Proven ability in successfully supporting sales
efforts and closing deals.
• Technical skills: Good understanding of cybersecurity concepts, tools, and
procedures. Experience with security solutions such as cloud security,
SIEM, cloud-based security, AI-based security, endpoint protection, etc.
• Communication: High-level verbal and written communication skills, with
the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical
stakeholders.
• Problem-solving: Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities,
with the ability to cope with customer challenges and offer practical
solutions.
• Teamwork: Ability to cooperate effectively with sales teams, engineers,
and customers. Proven ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced
environment.
