Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at MAYA Technologies Ltd. This is a full-time, on-site role where the Senior Engineer will take a leading role in managing engineering activities and guiding a team of engineers. The role involves contributing to mechanical engineering tasks, machine design, computer-aided design (CAD), project management, and research and development (R&D). The Senior Engineer will be instrumental in driving innovation, ensuring project success, and delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Oversee the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems and components.

Perform and verify strength calculations to ensure reliability and compliance with design specifications.

Provide hands-on involvement in mechanical design using CAD tools, especially SolidWorks, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality assurance.

Drive innovation and research initiatives to improve product performance and reliability.

Mentor team members and support their professional development.

Qualifications

5-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, machine design, and CAD.

Strong knowledge of strength calculations, including the ability to verify and validate designs.

Proficient in mechanical design using SolidWorks, with a keen eye for detail.

Experience in project management, including planning, execution, and delivery.

Experience in leading teams is an advantage.

Hands-on experience in Research and Development (R&D).

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).

Experience in the defense, medical, or civilian industries is highly desirable.
