Senior Implementation Consultant

Cloudinary is seeking a highly motivated Senior Implementation Consultant to join our dynamic Professional Services (PS) team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring our customers successfully onboard and adopt Cloudinary’s innovative media management solutions. As the customer's key point of contact during onboarding, you will guide them through the implementation process to realize value from their Cloudinary investment. This role requires a combination of project management coordination, technical expertise, and client-facing consulting skills.

The Senior Implementation Consultant focuses on medium to large engagements, typically in partnership with internal or external stakeholders. For more complex or high-profile projects, you will collaborate as part of a team to ensure successful delivery, contributing significantly to the success of our customers by delivering solutions aligned with their requirements and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Lead medium-sized implementation projects or collaborate with a Project Manager (PjM) on larger, more complex engagements. Create comprehensive project plans and timelines, and manage resources to ensure successful project delivery. Lead discovery sessions to determine or confirm project scope and requirements, prescribing the best-fit implementation approach. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively address any issues to keep projects on track.
• Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and managing expectations throughout the implementation process. Conduct workshops, interviews, and assessments to gather and document functional and technical requirements. Serve as an escalation point for implementation projects to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to people, processes and technology.
• Solution Design: Translate client requirements into customized solutions leveraging the capabilities of Cloudinary's platform. Configure, customize, and test the Cloudinary solution to align with client needs, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, product management, engineering, and support, to ensure alignment and coordination throughout the implementation process. Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, facilitating communication and addressing any issues or concerns
• Training and Enablement: Provide training and support to clients and end-users to ensure successful adoption and utilization of the Cloudinary solution. Develop and deliver training materials, workshops, and documentation as needed to empower clients to maximize the value of their investment in Cloudinary's platform
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and validation of the implemented solution to ensure quality, performance, and compliance with client requirements. Monitor and troubleshoot any technical issues or challenges that may arise during the implementation process
• Continuous Improvement: Contributes to improving team processes based on specific project experiences. Share actionable insights and recommendations for immediate application to enhance implementation delivery
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, etc.) or comparable, equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience in a client-facing role, preferably in implementation management, consulting, or technical project management
• Strong project management skills, including planning, organizing, and managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Technical proficiency in web development, cloud computing, or related technologies. Experience with media management, digital asset management (DAM), or content management systems (CMS) is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams at all levels from individual contributors to C-suite executives
• Demonstrated ability to translate client requirements into tailored solutions, with a focus on delivering value-added services and exceeding client expectations
• Proven track record of driving successful implementation projects, meeting project milestones, and delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget
• Willingness to travel to Cloudinary locations for meetings and customer sites for onsite service delivery as needed, up to 25%
