About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Ethereum Protocol Engineer to design, develop, and deploy innovative smart contracts and protocols on Ethereum. In this central role, you will leverage your expertise to create novel solutions that redefine the blockchain ecosystem, collaborate with researchers and developers, and contribute to the advancement of decentralized technology.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy innovative smart contracts and protocols on Ethereum.
• Architect novel on-chain solutions that address the challenges of decentralization and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate on-chain and off-chain components seamlessly.
• Leverage tools like revm, reth, geth, Remix, and Python to develop and test protocols.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in blockchain technology and smart contract best practices.
• Influence critical design decisions to drive impactful results through your expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years specializing in blockchain and smart contracts.
• Expertise in Solidity and Ethereum smart contract development.
• Strong understanding of blockchain mechanics and protocol design.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and tooling.
• Experience with blockchain development tools such as revm, reth, geth, Remix, etc.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing innovative protocols and scaling solutions.
• Familiarity with Layer-2 solutions, such as Rollups or state channels.
• Contributions to open-source blockchain projects.
• Knowledge of security best practices in smart contract development.
