Position Overview

The COO will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless execution of our operations and day-to-day hands-on company management while preparing MediaFuse for scalable growth.

We’re searching for an extremely hard-working, smart, problem solver and hungry superstar to join our leadership team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the operational backbone of an ambitious startup and drive exponential growth in a high-demand market.

The COO will work closely with the CEO, CMO and VP Sales to oversee daily business activities, and be involved across many different departments such as sales, customer success, compliance, marketing, tech and more.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Develop and execute company expansion processes that align with MediaFuse’s vision and growth goals.
• Build and lead high-performing teams across operations, client services, and delivery functions.
• Establish and maintain scalable systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency.

Process Optimization and Scalability

• Streamline the end-to-end press release distribution workflow, ensuring quality and timeliness.
• Identify and implement tools and technologies to improve team productivity and service delivery.
• Design processes to support rapid expansion into new industries and geographic markets.

Client Success and Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and account management teams to deliver exceptional client experiences.
• Strengthen relationships with media outlets and key partners in fintech, crypto, gaming, and other niches.
• Develop and track client satisfaction metrics to improve retention and loyalty.

Performance and Financial Management

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to ensure sustainable growth.
• Monitor and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate operational success.
• Work closely with the CEO on fundraising initiatives and investor relations as needed.

Risk and Compliance

• Ensure MediaFuse adheres to industry regulations, especially in sensitive sectors such as fintech and cryptocurrency.
• Mitigate operational risks and safeguard the company’s reputation through robust compliance measures.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience: 7+ years in operations/management, with a proven track record in high-growth martech/SaaS startups or industries with bonus points for media, public relations niches.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and scale teams in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Operational Expertise: Strong knowledge of operational processes, workflow optimization, and technology-driven efficiencies.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with general tech and SaaS startups, fintech, crypto, cybersecurity, or gaming sectors is highly desirable.
• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• English: Fluent English
