Role Overview:
As a Construction Project Manager, you will take ownership of planning, overseeing, and optimizing construction projects from initiation to completion. Your primary focus will be ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently, stay within budget, meet deadlines, and adhere to quality standards. This role demands strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to foster collaboration across departments while maintaining clear communication with senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning & Execution
- Oversee and manage all project activities, including budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
- Develop detailed project plans, define milestones, and establish priorities to ensure smooth progression.
- Identify cost drivers and manage budgets effectively, distinguishing between essential and non-essential expenditures to avoid overruns.
- Proactively mitigate risks and address delays to maintain project timelines and avoid bottlenecks.
2. Problem-Solving & Process Optimization
- Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving on-site issues and challenges.
- Provide practical, goal-oriented solutions while aligning project decisions with company objectives.
- Implement cost-saving strategies and streamline workflows to maximize operational efficiency.
3. Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead the Assets Rentals and Assets Flips teams, ensuring all activities align with the company’s strategic goals.
- Conduct daily and weekly meetings with project teams, analysts, and managers to track progress, address challenges, and allocate resources.
- Use task management tools to delegate assignments, monitor progress, and maintain team accountability.
4. Communication & Reporting
- Act as a liaison between departments to ensure seamless project execution and alignment.
- Provide senior leadership with detailed updates on project schedules, resource needs, and key challenges.
- Prepare clear, actionable reports to track project performance and inform decision-making.
5. Operational Oversight & Compliance
- Manage day-to-day project operations to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Oversee all financial reporting, from budgeting to reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
Key Qualifications
Must-Haves:
- Experience:
- Proven experience in construction project management.
- Minimum 3 years of team leadership with a track record of meeting goals and deadlines.
- Technical Skills:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (including formulas).
- Language:
- Fluent English (native or near-native level).
- Competencies:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to create and monitor detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with the U.S. construction industry and regulations.
- Experience with task management and project tracking software.
- Background in cost-saving and efficiency-driven process optimization.
- Adaptability to new tools, processes, and technologies.
Work Schedule & Flexibility:
- Monday-Thursday: On-site, 17:00 - 02:00.
Friday: 17:00-02:00 From Home
