Marketing Analyst

About the Role

The Marketing Analyst will be a critical strategic resource within our marketing team, serving as a key bridge between marketing, sales, and customer success. This role will be instrumental in developing market intelligence that drives our go-to-market strategy.

You'll collaborate across teams to support sales with market insights, work with research and customer success to understand emerging market trends, and translate complex research findings into strategic marketing and business intelligence. This position is central to our ability to understand market dynamics, identify new opportunities, and position Vinesight effectively in the rapidly evolving landscape of misinformation detection technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the investigative wing of the marketing team leveraging our our product dashboard to monitor, analyze and uncover strategic sales and content opportunities
• Conduct comprehensive market research and in-depth company profiling
• Develop detailed research reports and conduct comprehensive market research and in depth company/user persona profiling to provide actionable insights to refine and inform business decisions
• Translate complex data findings into compelling narratives that support demand gen and content strategy and iterations
• Support pre-sales processes with targeted market intelligence, and supporting enablement assets
• Identify and track emerging market trends relevant to our technology and client base and analyze competitive landscapes and potential market entry strategies/pivots
• Create targeted lists and profiles of potential market segments and clients

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 4-6 years of professional experience in market research, research methodologies, and advanced internet search techniques
• Proven ability to create detailed target lists and market segmentation reports
• Proficiency in data analysis tools, research platforms, and evaluating the credibility of online sources
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience in delivering comprehensive research projects
• Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources, including websites, public databases, and industry reports
• Experience in tracking and analyzing digital information spread

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with pre-sales processes with a focus on presenting research relevant to potential clients
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Marketing, Data Science, or related field
• Strong presentation and storytelling skills
• Knowledge of digital research ethics and information verification techniques
• Professional experience in OSINT research and analysis
