QA Automation Engineer

Job Description

The Automation QA Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products by developing and executing automated test cases. This role involves working closely with the QA team, developers, and product managers to identify defects, document issues, and contribute to improving testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated test cases to ensure software quality.
• Document test results and track defects using bug tracking systems.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to resolve issues.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and related documentation.
• Participate in test case reviews and improve testing processes.
• Stay updated on software testing tools, trends, and methodologies.
  
  

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: 5 years of automation development experience (Python, Java, Go).
• Technical Skills:
• Expertise in Linux and Cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis techniques and defect prioritization processes.
