Overview:

The Software Team Manager at Skyline Robotics will lead and oversee our software development

team, and report the Company’s CTO. You'll lead the software team while working closely with

mechanical, electrical, algorithms, and validation engineers, while collaborating with manufacturing

professionals to develop and fortify our software architecture and capabilities.

The Software Team Manager will exhibit strong leadership skills to guide and inspire the team while

possessing deep technical expertise in software development and architecture. They should excel in

collaboration with cross-functional teams, demonstrate effective problem-solving abilities, and have

solid project management experience. Adaptability to changing technologies and strategic thinking

to align development with company goals are also crucial qualities.

Key Responsibilities:

● Lead the design and development of new features for our client interfaces and the backend

infrastructure of our robot fleet.

● Oversee our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD processes.

● Mentor the full stack team to ensure high performance, collaboration, and professional

development.

● Design, development, and optimization of the infrastructure to meet rapidly evolving system

requirements while ensuring reliability and efficiency.

Requirements:

● B.Sc. in computer science or related fields from known universities (M.Sc.\Ph.d. - advantage)

● 5+ years of proven experience in hands-on software development

● 2 years of proven management experience

● Experience with client-side coding using Vue, React or Angular

● Experience with server-side coding using Nodejs (Typescript) and Python

● Experience with Linux environment and containers (Docker)

● Experience with cloud-based solutions (preferably AWS)

● Experience with relational and time-series databases

● Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and source control procedures

● A strong leader who possesses visionary thinking, excellent communication skills, empathy,

decisiveness, integrity, resilience, adaptability, and effective delegation

● Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

● Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System)

● Experience with WebRTC
