Senior Researcher for TAC research group

We are looking for a senior researcher how is creative, autodidact, diligent and open-minded, to join our TAC research group. The main goal of the group is to research the electrochemical, micro-structural, phase transition and stability, and thermal behavior of nickel-hydroxide-based electrodes.

H2Pro develops chemical/electrochemical hybrid systems to demonstrate our novel hydrogen generation technology. As a part of our group, you will be required to research independently and as a part of the group related subjects regarding the nickel-hydroxide-based electrodes. The research includes literature review, planning and executing the experiments, performing the data analysis, and drawing conclusions. Alongside taking part in advanced electrochemical, microstructural, and chemical characterization methods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Required to research independently and as a part of the group related subjects regarding the nickel-hydroxide-based electrodes.
• The research includes thorough literature reviews and self-learning.
• Plan and execute the experiments and perform the data analysis and drawing conclusions.
• Preform advanced electrochemical, microstructural, and chemical characterization.
  
  

• Experimental PhD in material science or engineering - must
• 2-5 years of experience in research of phase transitions and stability of non-organic materials – must
• Experience in materials and chemical characterization analyzes, such as: SEM, XRD - must
• Experience in the fields of electrochemistry: batteries, electrolyzes, flow cells or fuel cells – strong advantage.
• Experience in research of nickel hydroxide – advantage
• Experience in electrochemical analyzes, such as: potentiostat, CV etc. – advantage
• Ability to perform a deep literature review and scientific research.
• Ability to design and execute experiments.
• Ability to analyze results and draw conclusions.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
