Project Management Officer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead and coordinate security-focused projects within our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects that enhance the company’s cybersecurity posture, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end management of cybersecurity projects, from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and risk management strategies to address potential challenges.
• Monitor project progress and performance, regularly updating stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Ensure projects comply with relevant cybersecurity frameworks, regulations, and best practices.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with security initiatives, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex cybersecurity concepts into actionable insights.
• Continuously evaluate project outcomes to drive improvements and share lessons learned.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (2+ years) managing projects in the cybersecurity or IT domain.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and technologies.
• Exceptional project management skills, including proficiency with Jira, Trello, or MS Project tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
