AI Engineer (AI Platform team)

Description

Trax is searching for a skilled Software Engineer to join the AI-Engineering team. This team builds and supports infrastructure for serving state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms at scale in production services, while collaborating with various teams across the AI group to provide tools and infrastructure that accelerate their work.

Responsibilities

• Take a leading role in shaping and developing Trax’s core AI (particularly ML) platform, focusing on designing and building a complex microservices system.
• Develop tools and workflows for training, deploying, and monitoring ML models at scale.
• Collaborate with research teams, data engineers, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions using the latest technologies.
  
  

• 3 years of experience as a software developer
• Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Java, C++, C#, Go, Rust
• A solid understanding of data structures and design patterns.
  
  

• Experience working with cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience using Kubernetes and Docker
• Familiarity with Swift
• Familiarity with Knative
