Chief Operating Officer

Position Objective:

Lead, maintain, and develop the logistics and operations activities within the organization, in direct collaboration with internal departments and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the organization’s operational activities, ensuring efficiency and high-quality standards.
• Develop operational strategies and work plans that align with and support the organization’s goals and vision.
• Monitor performance and ensure targets for quality and efficiency are met.
• Manage budgets in accordance with goal achievement.
• Oversee the implementation of operational plans and ensure targets are achieved.
• Supervise and manage senior managers and department heads.
• Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships, while motivating managers and employees to meet organizational objectives.
• Lead process improvements, optimize resources, and spearhead operational innovation.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Create growth opportunities and new avenues for the organization’s development.
• Develop processes for risk and crisis management, and address unforeseen operational issues effectively.

Job Requirements:

• Relevant academic qualifications – required.
• Experience in Israeli agriculture – significant advantage.
• Master’s degree in a managerial field – advantageous.
• At least 5 years of experience as a COO– required.
• At least 5 years of experience managing middle management and overseeing complex employee structures – required.
• Full proficiency in Office software – required.
• Familiarity with Priority and SF systems – advantageous.
