API Gateway Security Engineer

We are looking for an API Gateway Security Engineer at NESS

The role involves Manage and implement API Gateway solutions with a strong focus on information security. Responsibilities include ongoing maintenance of API systems, managing secure permissions and access, monitoring API traffic to identify anomalies, threats, and intrusion attempts, collaborating with security and infrastructure teams to identify and manage security risks, and more.

Full-time position in the central region.

Requirements:

At least two years of experience as an API Gateway expert (such as APIM, API Connect, or DataPower) with a strong emphasis on information security - Required.

In-depth knowledge of security protocols and API protection (such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID, API Tokens) - Required.

Ability to analyse and identify risks in API security and integration with identity management systems - Required.

Experience using monitoring and operational tools to prevent intrusions, DDoS attacks, and hacking attempts - Required.

Extensive knowledge of network protocols such as HTTP/S, SSL/TLS, TCP/IP - Significant advantage.
