BY Technology, located in Karmiel's industrial zone, is seeking a hands-on mechanical engineer to join our fiber optic assembly team. This position focuses on the practical aspects of fiber optic cable assembly, testing, and quality control.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Practical Mechanical Engineer - Fiber Optics at BY Technology - ISRAEL located in Karmiel, with flexibility for some remote work. The Practical Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for tasks such as mechanical engineering design, machine design, CAD modeling, project management, and research and development in the field of fiber optics.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design skills
• Experience in Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
• Project Management expertise
• Research and Development (R&D) experience
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Previous experience in fiber optics industry is a plus
• Hebrew and English - Fluency
