Chief Executive Officer

We are a startup in the bootstrap stage, established to save lives, offering a IFF (Identify Friend or Foe) device for Small Arms. Our clients can safely train, hunt and protect locations and personnel, avoiding friendly fire unfortunate events. We have a working prototype, engineered to real life size and are looking for a CEO. 

As the CEO you will lead and oversee the company operations and fund raising targeting the NA Small Arms market. Serving as the company's main point of contact, your primary responsibilities will be to achieve a seed round, ensure product usage and value, and enable early sales. 

This role entails managerial responsibilities, requiring strong leadership and strategic vision to effectively manage a startup team and drive the success of our customers. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute an extensive business strategy to achieve funding and early sales.
• Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission
• Make high-quality investing decisions to advance the business and increase profits
• Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company’s legality and business ethics
• Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements
• Build trust relations with key partners and stakeholders and act as a point of contact for important shareholders
• Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth
• Maintain a deep knowledge of the markets and industry of the company
• Collaborate closely with the R&D, Product, and Sales to align initiatives with product development and sales strategies.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market changes, and competitive landscape to provide strategic insights and recommendations.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years’ proven experience leading a global organization as a senior or VP at a startup.
• Experience in one or more of the following: US market business development, fundraising, product and R&D management.
• Willingness to travel to multiple locations worldwide, at least 30% of the time. Open to relocation to NA should be applicable.
• Fluent written and spoken English, additional languages are an advantage.
• History of an IDF combat officer in infantry is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with users and high-level executives.
• Quick learner, curious, creative, and open-minded, with a passion for continuous improvement.
