Chief System Engineer

Our Space Systems Division is looking for an experienced Chief System Engineer to lead the development of a new mega-system for mission planning and operations of next-generation satellite constellations.

What will you do:

• Lead and take responsibility for the holistic architecture and design of satellite mission planning and operations systems for various applications.
• Work across multiple projects in the space and satellite domains.
• Lead system-level design reviews (Design Reviews).
• Develop advanced image processing solutions and AI algorithms.
• Manage a multidisciplinary, matrixed collaboration with teams including software engineers, RF engineers, project managers, architects, and more.

What we’re looking for:

• B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science – mandatory.
• 8+ years of experience as a lead system architect in software-intensive systems – mandatory.
• Proven leadership, teamwork, and the ability to present technical concepts to engineers and clients – mandatory.
• Strong understanding of all aspects of the system development lifecycle – mandatory.
• Experience in image processing, optimization algorithms, and AI – a significant advantage.
• Experience working with cloud environments – advantage.
• Ability to define solutions to meet project objectives (scope, schedule, and budget).
• Broad system-level perspective with attention to detail.
• High-level proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
