NPI Engineer (Electronics/Mechanics)

About the Position:

Afimilk is seeking a talented NPI Engineer to join our dynamic Operations team and play a crucial role in transitioning products from R&D to production.

Key Responsibilities:

· Build and manage product/production files, including BOMs, product documentation, and design of jigs, tools, and fixtures.

· Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, supply chain, and quality teams to address production needs and troubleshoot technical issues

· Lead Turn-Key and supplier engineering activities for both electronic and mechanical systems, locally and internationally.

· Support test equipment and automation development for new and existing products.

· Manage product ECO processes, including implementation and configuration control.

· Drive continuous improvement through FMEA, root cause analysis, audits, and operational engineering support.

· Implement manufacturing transfer requirements from Afimilk to suppliers and contract manufacturers.

Requirements:

· B.Sc. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

· 5+ years of experience in NPI/engineering environments for multidisciplinary products.

· Proven expertise in one of the following fields:

o Electronics: PCBA design, validation, and manufacturing; familiarity with electronic design tools; understanding of analog and digital circuits.

o Mechanics: Mechanical design tools (e.g., SolidWorks); experience with tooling, fixtures, and jigs for mass production.

· Experience leading projects and managing cross-functional teams.

·  Strong interpersonal and communication skills in Hebrew and English.
