This cutting-edge digital technology merges traditional casting with additive manufacturing, enabling the creation of custom-designed metal parts tailored to the customers' materials specifications. Job Summary

The role of Senior Experimental Physicist involves active participation in the development and implementation of our first-generation industrial machine. At Magnus Metal, we seek an experienced physicist who possesses a profound understanding of physics, broad technological expertise, and the capability to quickly and deeply grasp new concepts.

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic senior physicist with a passion for advancing innovative technologies and a strong commitment to close collaboration with multidisciplinary development teams.

Responsibilities

[·       Develop a deep understanding of the machine's inner workings and underlying physical principles, achieving a comprehensive perspective of the casting process and system operations

·       Identify, characterize, analyze, and resolve unforeseen challenges.

·       Conceptualize and implement innovative solutions to technical problems.

·       Design, conduct, and analyze experiments directly on the machine.

Qualifications

·      PhD in Physics (mandatory).

·      Proven experience in hardware-focused industrial R&D (mandatory).

·      Expertise in addressing heat transfer challenges (mandatory).

·      Familiarity with FEA software (e.g., COMSOL) (preferred).

·      Background in material science and physical chemistry (preferred).

·      Experience in the 3D printing industry (preferred).
