Role Summary:

As a Laboratory Technician on the Fermentation Team, you will play a key role in supporting our research and production efforts. Your work will involve preparing sterile media, supporting fermentation activities, and contributing to the team’s success in achieving project milestones.

Key Responsibilities:

• Media Preparation:Prepare, sterilize, and aliquot fermentation media and reagents according to established protocols.
• Ensure accurate measurement and formulation of media components.
• Maintain and manage inventory of chemicals and supplies; reorder as necessary.
• Verify sterilization and handle media appropriately.
• Fermentation Support:Assist with inoculation, fermentation, and post-fermentation processes.
• Ensure adherence to safety and operational protocols.
• General Laboratory Tasks:Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Handle routine lab operations, including lifting equipment and materials (5-10 kg) as part of fermentation preparation and cleaning.
• Collaboration:Work closely with fermentation and production teams to achieve shared goals.
• Participate in regular team meetings and project discussions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Organized, reliable, and able to manage tasks efficiently.
• Comfortable with full-time availability and routine physical tasks (the work may involve lifting equipment weighing up to 10Kg).
