Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Deep Learning Researcher at NextVision Stabilized Systems Ltd. in Raanana.

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Deep Learning Researcher to join our team.

The position aims to explore and implement cutting-edge, real-time computer vision algorithms to expand the applications of our camera technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer vision including detection, tracking, image matching, 3D reconstruction, and related areas.

Responsibilities:

• Tackle real-world problems for which no "off-the-shelf" solutions exist.
• Implementing deep learning and classic computer vision algorithms.
• Take end-to-end responsibility for short- to medium-term projects, from data collection to the design and optimization of deep neural networks.
• Write production-grade code in python and C++; Work side-by-side with top notch engineering teams to integrate algorithmic solutions into NextVision’s systems.

Qualifications:

• M.Sc. in CS, EE, Physics, or other quantitative field from a leading university, thesis or + 2-years equivalent work track experience.
• Proficient in Python, C++, PyTorch, NumPy, and CUDA.
• Ability to analyze complex computer vision challenges and develop the most efficient solutions.
• Strong analytical skills, and mission-oriented critical thinking.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• A record of relevant academic research with publications in leading journals and conferences (preferred).
• Experience working on edge devices (preferred).
