Location: Hod Hasharon, Israel

Toga Networks, a key R&D arm of Huawei, is looking for a passionate Network Simulation Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The role includes leading a small network simulation team, and while prior management experience is a plus, it’s not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Simulate and implement next-gen network protocols for cloud and data centers
• Mentor junior engineers and support team development
• Hands-on software development with a focus on packet switching networks

What You Need:

• 3+ years of experience in C++ and Python
• Solid knowledge of packet switching networks, including switches, routers, protocols, and topologies
• Strong Linux expertise
• Familiarity with software development tools (Git, Jira, code reviews, debugging, testing)

Nice to Have:

• Experience with network simulators like ns-3, OPNET, or OMNET++
• Familiarity with gem5 or other system simulators
• Knowledge of RDMA (iWARP, RoCE), InfiniBand
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
