R&D Team Lead

Moovex is expanding, and we are looking for an experienced R&D Team Lead to join our exciting ride in the innovative mobility ecosystem!

Moovex is a leading force in the mobility ecosystem, having developed the first and most advanced Routing as a Service (RaaS) platform for various mobility scenarios. Our infrastructure supports transportation fleets and operators in scaling operations, optimizing performance, and remaining competitive amid evolving mobility demands.

You will be collaborating with other engineers, product managers, and customers to build a suite of applications and tools that allow businesses to effortlessly optimize their fleet's efficiency and provide their customers with a cutting-edge user experience.

As an R&D Team Lead, you will work directly under the CTO and will be in charge of transforming business vision into working technology.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day of the R&D team, their tasks, and responsibilities.
• Implement and improve processes to enhance the viability of R&D pipelines.
• Create timelines and delivery strategies for features, releases, and bug fixes.
• Coordinate cross-team communication with partners and other stakeholders.
• Ensure code quality, delivery quality, and maintaining the platform’s longevity.
• Participate in strategy and roadmap meetings and make vision-based decisions.

What are we looking for?

• 3 years of experience managing small to medium R&D teams.
• 3 years of experience in the JavaScript ecosystem and proven experience in building modern applications using TypeScript, React and Node.js.
• Proven experience building and maintaining cloud-based applications on AWS.
• Passion for implementing processes to improve efficiency, collaboration, and quality of work.
• Understanding of design patterns and their best practices
• Familiarity with different types of databases (both RDBMS and NoSQL) and their different use cases.
• Experience implementing QA strategies, including unit-testing, e2e, and others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and Hebrew.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Analytical, solution-oriented mindset.
