One of our clients, a leader in cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions, is looking to hire an experienced and driven QA Lead to establish and lead the Quality Assurance function within the organization.

This company is renowned for its innovative approach to quantum encryption. It combines quantum physics, advanced mathematical algorithms, high-speed FPGA electronics, and fiber/free-space optical communication to deliver groundbreaking encryption systems.

As the first dedicated QA professional, you will be able to define the company’s QA methodologies, processes, and automation framework while performing hands-on testing. The role involves working with highly integrated quantum communication cybersecurity systems, which include user interfaces, embedded software, hardware modules, and physical devices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Product, Operations & Manufacturing, and Customer Support, to ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet rigorous standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and implement QA methodologies, standards, and processes across the company.
• Perform manual and automated QA testing.
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to test embedded and integrated systems and optical communication setups.
• Ensure QA processes are integrated into Operations & Manufacturing workflows for physical devices.
• Partner with the Product team to ensure QA aligns with product and customer requirements.
• Track, report, and analyze defects to enhance product quality continuously.
• Balance building automation tools with executing manual testing as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of QA experience, focusing on software and integrated systems.
• Expertise in establishing QA methodologies and processes.
• Experience in both manual and automated testing, including QA tools and defect tracking systems such as JIRA.
• Familiarity with embedded systems, software running on physical devices, and optical communication setups.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with QA for communication equipment and products involving hardware/software integration.
• Background in automation framework development.
• Interest in quantum encryption and advanced cybersecurity technologies.
