GenAI Engineering Lead

As a Generative AI Engineering Lead, you will lead the design, development and implementation of cutting-edge Generative AI solutions for our clients - ranging from Fortune 500s and enterprises to leading SMBs and startups. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with software, AI & data engineers, data scientists, architects and product managers to drive innovation and efficiency through end-to-end AI-powered solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead (hands-on) the design and development of state-of-the-art Gen-AI applications and products for top-tier clients
• Build and lead a team of GenAI engineers working across the stack to deliver end-to-end production-grade AI solutions to complex business problems
• Lead client AI discovery processes and sessions to deeply understand the customer’s needs and provide AI implementation recommendations
• Provide customers with Generative AI expertise and advisory through architecture designs, PoCs and solution reviews
• Work closely with our teams of cloud experts to deploy AI solutions across all major cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications for AI-powered applications
• Stay up-to-date with the latest GenAI technologies, research and trends
  
  

• Demonstrable experience building GenAI applications and solutions
• 5+ years as a software developer, 3+ of which as a backend/full stack engineer
• 2+ years as a tech lead or team lead
• High proficiency in Python
• Proven experience working with LLM APIs (e.g OpenAI), RAG, Vector DBs, AI agents/assistants and GenAI frameworks (e.g. LangChain)
• Proven experience with prompt design and prompt engineering, deep understanding of different prompting techniques
• Proven experience evaluating, monitoring and guardrailing LLM outputs and addressing common issues like accuracy, latency, cost and safety
• Experience working with cloud-based services and databases (SQL/NoSQL) from at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure), preferably with regards to deploying AI solutions
• Genuine curiosity and passion for Generative AI technology
• Self-directed, independent, collaborative and diligent
• Fluent English communication skills, written and verbal

• Experience working with AI coding copilots (e.g. GitHub Copilot)
• Proficiency in Node.js and/or Java
• Degree in Computer Science / SW Engineering / EE or related field
