Assistant Controller

Our headquarters finance team is responsible for supporting the financial operations of the group, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, and designing accounting and operational processes.

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to join our team. You will step into a dynamic and engaging role that will gain you valuable experience. If you are a self-starter with a "figure it out" mindset this role is for you.

In this role you will:

• Be a focal point for subsidiaries’ local finance teams, provide daily support and guidelines, foster a professional relationship and function as a key business partner
• Be responsible for monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, including analytical review
• Apply quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Verify accuracy of intercompany transactions
• Ensure compliance with internal reporting requirements, such as local financial statements and income tax reports
• Analyze and understand the differences between US GAAP and local GAAP requirements
• Collaborate with other departments within the company
• Implement and maintain financial controls
• Identify areas that need optimization of processes
  
  

• 3 years of accounting experience (including internship) - a must
• CPA from a Big 4 accounting firm - a must
• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
• Strong knowledge in US GAAP
• Exceptional business partnering skills, with ability to work cross-functionally within the company
• Excellent attention to details and accuracy
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with shifting priorities and deadlines
• Experience in the tech industry, startup/high-growth state of mind
• Experience in working in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Familiar with NetSuite - an advantage
• Familiarity with Argentina's financial eco-system - an advantage
