We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer Lead with a proven track record of building automation frameworks and processes from the ground up in a startup environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing automated systems to support scalable, efficient, and reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Implement Automation Frameworks: Design and establish automated processes and frameworks to streamline testing, deployment, and maintenance workflows.
• End-to-End Process Creation: Build, manage, and optimize new automation processes from inception to completion, ensuring they align with company goals and scale with our growth.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with development, product, and operations teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective automation solutions.
• Optimize Systems for Performance and Efficiency: Continuously analyze existing systems, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to maximize reliability and efficiency.
• Documentation and Training: Document automation processes and best practices, and provide training to relevant teams for successful adoption and implementation.
  
  

• Design, develop, and execute tests for new features from scratch, as part of ongoing releases.
• Develop and maintain automated tests and define the scope for test automation.
• Report and track bugs found during test automation, assist with root cause analysis, verify bug fixes, and work with stakeholders to prioritize issues.
• Update and maintain the product regression test suite(s).
• Enhance tools, applications, or processes to improve test efficiency and quality.
  
  

• Experience in Startups: Demonstrated experience in building automation processes from scratch and managing them in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Experienced with automation tools and frameworks
• Problem Solving and Innovation: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex issues in automation.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Hebrew and English, with an ability to convey technical information to non-technical team members.
• Proactive and Independent Worker: Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work autonomously while contributing to the team’s success.
  
  

• 7+ years of software testing experience.
• Academic degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (military experience considered).
• 3+ years of experience working with relevant testing frameworks.
• Experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, frontend, and backend testing.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and experience with scripting/programming.
• Experience working in a scrum environment.
  
  

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of additional automation frameworks and AWS.
