Director of Platform Engineering

We’re looking for a Director of Platform Engineering to join our R&D leadership team and play a pivotal role in driving our technical roadmap and innovation while fostering high-performing engineering teams collaborating with Product, R&D, Sales, and Customer Success teams.

This strategic, high-impact position involves leading a diverse group of experienced Backend, DevOps, ML, and Big Data Engineers.

• Recruiting and growing additional talented engineers and team leaders
• Leading our strategic tech partnerships
• Scaling our backend and data infrastructure
• Building processes for optimal development and deployment in a modern SaaS Architecture while ensuring our teams maintain top velocity, quality, and developer experience as we grow and continue to lead the NHI Security market
• Our tech stack includes React, Node.js, Typescript, Python, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Databricks (Spark), Kubernetes, and serverless architecture on AWS and GCP to form an event-driven microservices architecture to deliver high performance for large enterprise customers
  
  

• 8+ years experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in management and leadership roles such as Group Leader
• Track record of building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing teams in a fast-paced startup environment with a collaborative innovation mindset
• Proven expertise in backend development at scale, preferably with technologies like AWS Serverless and managed services, Kubernetes, Python, Node.js, Spark, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and deep Cloud Infrastructure and Architecture Knowledge
