Senior Security Researcher - Data

What You'll Do:

• Lead research projects focused on understanding and modeling security risks through data analysis.
• Conduct research on data systems to uncover vulnerabilities, threats, and ways to enhance security.
• Design and implement frameworks to analyze security tools, threats, and defenses, helping organizations prioritize and improve their security posture.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver risk assessments and insights tailored to different industries and organizations.
• Work closely with customers to empower their decision-making and improve their security practices.
  
  

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, data analysis, or related roles.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and familiarity with security tools like EDR, UEBA, or SIEM platforms
• Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of turning raw data into actionable insights.
• Experience coding in Python, with the ability to automate repetitive tasks and streamline data workflows.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and working with databases (e.g., BigQuery, Athena, Snowflake, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with data science libs such as pandas / polars
  
  

• Experience working with or supporting data teams (data science, data engineering, or analytics)
• Hands-on knowledge of data visualization tools like matplotlib or seaborn
• Familiarity with cloud environments and their security challenges
• Experience as DevOps / Security Engineer - Security tools configurations, deployments and best practices
