- Design of optical coatings for novel optical components
- Close work with optical designers on coating specifications and innovative solutions
- Production run approval – work closely with machine operators to approve or correct test and production runs.
- Contribute in optical coating technical forums and meetings – challenges and risks for projects and spec requirements
Requirements:
- High level of independency; planning, analysis and deduction
- Ability to work under demanding milestones; targets and time lines High level of technical writing in English
- High level of working with computer software's and experience working with optical design SW
- Experience in the optical coating industry - must
- Strong background in optical materials and processes - Advantage
- Strong background in coating materials science – Advantage
- M.Sc. in material eng.\electro-optical eng. \physicist Or equivalent
- Ph.D. advantage
- Excellent human relationship
- Team player
- High level of independency
- Positive "can do" attitude
- Hebrew
- English - high level
