Senior Security Researcher

We are seeking a talented Senior Security Researcher to join Cyclops Security and play a leading role in advancing our threat research and driving security innovation. As a senior researcher, you’ll work alongside Product and R&D teams, reporting to the CTO, and transforming our expertise in security into valuable features for our customers.We're looking for a creative, analytical professional with a knack for understanding complex systems and a passion for uncovering the intricacies of how things work. Key Responsibilities:

• Detection Engineering: Design, develop, and implement advanced detection techniques to proactively identify and mitigate security threats, delivering real-time protection and insights for our customers.
• Hypothesis-Driven Research on Threats and Attacks: Conduct in-depth research to test hypotheses on emerging threats and attack vectors, translating findings into actionable insights and protections that provide tangible value to Cyclops Security's customers.
• Reshape and Enhance Data Models: Work closely with the team to refine and optimize our data model, ensuring it supports innovative security use cases and enhances the overall system’s accuracy and efficiency
  
  

• 5+ years of experience in security research, threat research, cloud R&D, or offensive security
• Data analysis and coding skills
• Strong communication skills – written and verbal
• Highly motivated, great self-learner, curious, responsible and independent
  
  

• B.Sc. or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent professional background
• Threat intelligence, red team, or incident response experience
• Experience with data/security analysis
• Detection engineering experience
