Quality Lead

FundGuard is looking for a strategic quality technical manager to drive quality initiatives across the organization and to ensure the quality of our product releases. This role requires a deep understanding of development lifecycles and establishing and implementing effective QA processes. The successful candidate will have a matrixed leadership role over the company's QA function.

This role does not have direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for automation coverage
• Define and review test strategy and features test plans
• Ownership of escaped defects lifecycle (Ensuring timely fixes and implementing measures to prevent future occurrences)
• Matrix management to create and enforce unified quality methodologies and processes across the company to achieve a max. test coverage
• Work closely with Dev squad managers to achieve a mutual quality culture and quality product development
• Responsible for both web app quality as well as data accuracy and consistency
• Take part in architecture and system requirements definitions
• Having great system views while mastering the lowest level of details
• Lead and own the quality agenda of our client
• ll development teams, product management, and customers' success
  
  

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of proven experience in manual testing in a technical software environment and distributed systems.
• Proven ability to lead internal projects, even in challenging situations, while balancing multiple stakeholder needs, including navigating R&D priorities-MUST
• Experience with automation methodologies and tools
• At least 3 years experience as a QA team leader in leading Hi-Tech companies,but this is not a people managerial position)
• Experience with public cloud vendors
• Experienced in SaaS products and multilayer DB’S
• Experienced in working with Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong leadership capabilities, running processes and initiatives in parallel with the ability to collaborate and create engagement across the group
• Excellent interpersonal skills and people management abilities
• Working with core banking- Advantage
• Experience with script writing-Advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Engineering
