Our client is a leading startup, revolutionizing retail IoT. They are developing a platform that merges the physical and digital retail spaces. Their innovative platform is based on cutting edge battery-less BLE tags that communicate with a cloud platform through an in-store wireless access network.

Key Requirements:

🔹 6+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles, with a proven track record of managing cloud-based infrastructure (GCP experience preferred);

🔹 Deep expertise in Kubernetes (K8s), containerization, and orchestration at scale;

🔹 Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins and ArgoCD;

🔹 Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or similar;

🔹 Solid understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Helm;

🔹 Demonstrated ability to evaluate, implement, and integrate new tools and technologies;

🔹 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on optimizing resource utilization and cost efficiency;

🔹 Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor team members and collaborate cross-functionally;

🔹 English – Upper-Intermediate or higher.

What you will do:

🔹 Act as the primary DevOps domain owner, driving strategic initiatives and ensuring operational excellence;

🔹 Lead and execute impactful projects while maintaining seamless day-to-day DevOps operations;

🔹 Architect, manage, and optimize scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP);

🔹 Design, deploy, and maintain robust Kubernetes (K8s) systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability;

🔹 Optimize resource utilization to minimize waste while ensuring systems are right-sized for scalability and performance;

🔹 Oversee and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and ArgoCD, ensuring efficient, automated, and error-free deployments;

🔹 Evaluate emerging tools and technologies, conduct POCs, and integrate proven solutions into the infrastructure;

🔹 Implement and enforce security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations;

🔹 Collaborate with developers, enhancing enablement and self-service.
