Role Overview

:We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Team Leader to join our dynamic team in Ramat Gan. This role involves leading and growing a team responsible for all data aspects at Solitics, including database management, query optimization, performance, security, auditing, monitoring, and ETL processes for our backend platform. As a hands-on leader, you will drive both strategy and execution, ensuring the scalability and efficiency of our data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a small data team.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of databases and data-related systems.
• Ensure data security, audit compliance, and monitoring across platforms.
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes for the Solitics platform backend.
• Optimize query performance and manage large-scale data pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the company’s data needs.
• Maintain a hands-on approach to coding and technical problem-solving

Mandatory Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience managing a team of at least 2 members.
• 5+ years of experience as a data engineer, managing various data engines and ETL processes.
• 3+ years of experience as a backend engineer developing microservices.
• Has to be experienced with working with Billions of records
• 1+ year of hands-on development experience with Java.

• Experience handling large-scale data systems.
