As a Senior Backend Engineer at Dazz, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our integrations portfolio, contributing to our core business objectives. Your responsibilities will span from exploring and analyzing applications and security tools to hands-on implementation, ensuring seamless integration with the Dazz platform. This role is crucial in addressing technical challenges, adopting new tools, and designing innovative research methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and develop new integrations, demonstrating proficiency in Python development.
• Explore, analyze, and understand applications and security tools, along with their APIs.
• Engage with partners and customers to understand their needs and optimize integration solutions.
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Python development.
• Understanding of API concepts, including REST and GraphQL.
• Proficient in SQL with a minimum of 4 years of hans-on experience.
• Proven ability to work independently and lead your projects.
• Cybersecurity related experience - an advantage.
• Experience working with customers and partners - an advantage.
• Familiarity with Cloud infrastructure, AWS, Terraform, and K8S - an advantage.
  
  

A bit more about the team: The Ingestion team is hands-on with the practical, efficient and reliable data ingestion from various security tools and cloud inventory platforms. From building connectors and ETL pipelines to scaling infrastructure, our team covers the entire data ingestion process – ensuring it's not just about getting the data in, but doing it right. We deal with normalization, backend services, building connectors and anything needed to keep the data flowing smoothly down the line.
