Job Summary

As the Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of our company. This is a leadership position where you will oversee all financial activities, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards. You will be reviewing risk and providing pragmatic solutions. Ensuring the preparation and presentation of clear and accurate financial reporting for both internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with financial and statutory standards. Responsible for tax and treasury and developing a long-term financial risks strategy and policies. providing insights that guide strategic decision-making. Additionally, you will lead a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.

Your Challenge

• Financial Strategy: Develop and implement the company's financial strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
• Financial System Organization: Establish and maintain a structured and efficient financial system, ensuring streamlined processes, accurate records, and robust controls to support business operations effectively.
• Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks, implementing strategies to mitigate them effectively.
• Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial investments to optimize liquidity and support growth initiatives.
• Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and other financial requirements.
• Strategic Decision Support: Evaluate, recommend, and execute strategies for optimizing the company's capital structure
• Treasury: Prepare and present reports on treasury activities, liquidity, and financial risk management to senior management. Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices in treasury management.
• Team Leadership: Mentor, develop, and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (master's degree preferred).
• CPA, graduate of one of the Big 4 accounting firms.
• Proven experience (8+ years) in a senior finance role, with a track record of strategic financial leadership.
• Executed hands-on tasks with precision and accuracy.
• In-depth knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Experience in a public company or a subsidiary of a public company.
• Familiarity with or experience in a manufacturing company
• Experience in the food industry or a related field is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate financial analysis into actionable strategies.
• Leadership qualities with a focus on team development and talent management.
