About The Role

As the Head of DevOps & IT, you will be at the forefront of designing and safeguarding the backbone of our technology operations. This position combines leadership, technical expertise, and strategic oversight to drive innovation, ensure system reliability, security and operational efficiency. You’ll lead and mentor a talented team while collaborating across departments to align infrastructure and security initiatives with the company’s growth and goals. From optimizing cloud services to managing cybersecurity strategies and compliance, you will ensure our systems are resilient, scalable, and secure, empowering the organization to thrive in a fast-evolving landscape.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership and Collaboration: Lead and mentor the infrastructure and security teams, fostering collaboration and professional growth. Partner with development, and product teams to seamlessly integrate infrastructure and security into the technology roadmap. Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure secure and effective infrastructure solutions.
• Infrastructure Management: Manage cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) with a focus on performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. Oversee network, server, storage, and database architecture to ensure high availability and resilience. Implement scalable and consistent infrastructure using automation tools like Terraform and Ansible. Lead the design, deployment, and management of secure IT infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments. Develop and maintain disaster recovery strategies to safeguard data integrity and system uptime.
• Security Management: Establish and enforce security policies and standards to safeguard company systems and data from threats. Oversee the Security Operations Center (SOC) to ensure real-time monitoring and effective incident response. Implement robust cybersecurity measures, including firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection, to defend against cyber threats. Lead initiatives to protect data through encryption, access controls, and secure storage solutions. Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
• Security Risk Management and Incident Response: Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities. Develop and maintain incident response protocols to effectively address and manage security breaches. Establish monitoring systems to proactively detect and respond to security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Security Governance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with security frameworks and regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI-DSS. Develop, enforce, and review security policies, disaster recovery procedures, and access control measures. Implement employee security training programs to enhance awareness and prevent security incidents.
• Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Continuously evaluate and enhance system performance, reliability, and security. Stay informed about emerging security technologies and implement solutions to address evolving threats. Design scalable infrastructure solutions that support business growth while maintaining security and operational efficiency.
• Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Manage infrastructure and security budgets to ensure cost-effective resource allocation. Optimize costs while upholding security and performance standards, making strategic investment recommendations when needed.
  
  

• Experience: 5+ years In Devops, with at least 2 years in a leadership role overseeing DevOps and Security (leading also IT infrastructure is an advantage).
• Collaborative Leader: You excel in leading and mentoring teams, driving cross-departmental collaboration, and cultivating a culture of quality and security. With a focus on establishing and refining processes, you ensure operational efficiency while leveraging your exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with executives, technical teams, and vendors.
• Cloud Innovator: You bring deep expertise in cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, and Azure, combined with proficiency in infrastructure automation tools like Terraform and Ansible, as well as scripting languages to drive scalable and efficient solutions.
• Security Strategist: You have proven expertise in cybersecurity practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection, encryption, and threat management. Your strong understanding of security standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001) and experience with compliance management ensures robust protection and regulatory alignment.
• IT Infrastructure Leader (an advantage): Experience in overseeing a company internal IT infrastructure is s a strong advantage. This includes managing network, server, and storage systems while ensuring supporting the company internal needs.
