You have high-level Hebrew and English (both written and spoken) and conversational Hebrew to communicate with both Israelis and international teams.

The finance team is responsible of payrollfor the payroll process, budget, Accounts Payable, day-to-day accounting operations and monthly closing process.
We are responsible for ensuring compliance with all tax regulations and business obligations by planning ahead and enabling the infrastructure needed to support the company’s extensive growth.

You will
- Have end-to-end ownership over the monthly payroll process, including ongoing maintenance, processing, and regulatory filing (Onboarding, Offboarding and 161 forms)
- Be responsible for the attendance system and preparation of monthly attendance reports including managing mat leave and milluim processes
- Process employee benefits
- Act as a point of contact on all payroll matters for employees, with a customer-centric attitude
- Provide in-depth salary reporting and analysis to the accounting team as well as work with employees, legal, HR teams and external consultants on salary-related issues
- Book all the payroll-related Journal Entries in the accounting books
- Act as a point of contact with all the salary related regulatory authorities (Mas Hachnasa, Bituach Leumi)
- Review and control reimbursement of employees' expenses
- Manage employees’ travel reports on a monthly basis
- Assist the bookkeeper with accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, tax reporting, and financial transactions as needed
- Provide support with payment processing, credit card reconciliations, monthly account reviews, שמג intercompany transactions when required
- Help with all bookkeeping aspects of the company
- Handle ad hoc assignments and special projects as assigned

Requirements
You have
- Excellent communication, fluent in both English and Hebrew – Must
- At least 3 years of experience as a payroll controller – Must
- At least 1 year of experience in bookkeeping – Must
- Certified bookkeeper (Level 2) – Must
- Certified payroll controller – Must
- Excellent communication skills and analytical capabilities – Must
- Excellent Excel skills – Must
- Tech savvy, Excellent Microsoft suite experience (Word, office, etc.) – Must
- Experience working with Malam payroll system – an advantage
- Experience working with Synerion system – an advantage
- Experience in hi-tech companies – an advantage
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with the team and across functions in a fast-paced environment
