Backend Team Lead

We’re looking for a Backend Engineer Team Lead eager to become one of our pioneering core team members and establish themselves as a significant building block of our products and company at this critical point in time before we reach greater heights.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, lead and grow a strong team of Backend engineers
• Deliver new game features and functionality for large-scale mobile games
• Collaborate with other development teams, product managers, UI\UX designers, and others to maintain high levels of visibility, efficiency, and collaboration
• Take full accountability for major features from specification and planning through execution & coding with multiple engineers
• Stay hands-on in the code, design and architecture
• Use and teach the best engineering methodologies, high quality development, coding and designing skills. The code is in Node.js (Backend) and C# (Unity, Frontend)
• Take a major part in our strategic growth of the R&D team - technology, process and professionally
  
  

• Team leadership experience and working with cross-functional teams (2+ years)
• At least 7 years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Experience with backend development of real-time web services of a high-scale system
• Experience in working with cloud-based architectures and AWS specifically
• Familiarity with Node.js or C#
• An academic degree in a relevant technical field
• Excellent communication skills (both Verbal and written) in Hebrew and English
