R&D manager

Guideline Group (traded on the Tel Aviv stock exchange) is a leading, well-established, company in Israel for providing technological solutions in the worlds of FinTech, Invest Tech, Legal Tec, and Business Tech (BT).

Guideline Group's capital market product line directly powers the data infrastructures of some of Israel's leading banking and institutional investor firms. Our platform also offers data analytics applications (WEB, Mobile, and Desktop), leading the capital market and industry.

We are looking for a highly motivated and talented R&D manager with excellent technical and interpersonal skills to lead our capital market R&D.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the backend and frontend teams of full-stack developers, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative team environment
• Actively participate in requirements analysis, coding, architecture design, and code reviews, ensuring high standards of quality and performance.
• Monitor the day-to-day activities of the teams
• Managing development, testing, and deployment of applications and systems at scale
• Keep excellent SDLC practices: unit tests, integration tests, code quality, documentation
• Managing and ensuring the teams using Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of applications in production.
• Drive innovation and provide a technological strategy
• Full responsibility for the planning, reviewing and execution of architectural changes in our distributed core products
• Manage the day-to-day work including sprint ceremonies, code reviews, and technical designs
  
  

• 7+ years in a software development role
• 3+ years of leading software development teams
• Hands-on experience with C#, .NET, TCP/IP (Sockets), near RT data streams, RESTFull API, MSSQL, Windows Services
• Proven experience with architecting complex near RT data streams
• Proven experience with writing testable code (+ unit testing)
• Experience and deep understanding of Agile and Lean product development methodologies
• Experience in CI/CD automation
• Great interpersonal communication
• B.Sc. in computer science or an equivalent
• Experience with client-side application development
• Experience with web technologies
• Experience with php, Linux
• Experience with NoSQL technologies
