Role Description: Principal Sales - Data ISVs
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Principal Sales professional specializing in data Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to join our cloud partner unit. In this role, you will be responsible for building a robust pipeline and successfully closing new business deals with leading data ISVs, such as MongoDB, Elastic, and Confluent. As a key player in our sales team, you will become a trusted advisor to prospects and clients, fostering relationships throughout their organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Pipeline Development:
- Build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities by employing effective sales strategies to secure new business with data ISVs.
- Trusted Advisor Role:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to prospects and clients, establishing strong relationships within their organizations and understanding their unique data needs.
- Articulate Value Proposition:
- Clearly articulate the benefits and features of our cloud solutions and data products to potential clients, showcasing how they address specific challenges.
- Lead Sales Processes:
- Lead high-stakes sales processes with professionalism and expertise, ensuring successful deal closures while navigating complex negotiations.
- Tailored Solutions:
- Understand the internal business processes of potential clients, strategizing and presenting tailored cloud and data technology solutions that align with their objectives.
- Customer Business Objectives:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer business objectives to effectively map out technology strategies that provide viable solutions.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in high-end sales processes with a track record of successfully managing and closing complex deals in the data and cloud space.
- In-depth understanding of the cloud landscape and data ISVs, with the ability to articulate the benefits and features of relevant products and services.
- Adept at nurturing a strong pipeline of opportunities and employing strategic approaches to secure wins.
- Demonstrated proficiency in understanding the internal business processes of potential clients, enabling the presentation of tailored technology solutions.
- Ability to develop a deep understanding of customer business objectives and formulate strategies that meet those objectives effectively.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to convey the value proposition of our offerings effectively.
- Commitment to meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual revenue goals by selling a range of cloud and data solutions.
